Bedroom Rope Light Ideas
Skip to content Over the past few weeks we've had to get pretty creative when it comes to occupying our minds. Especially when you have a family that loves to go out, be active, and have a good time. It got me thinking on ways to change our home to make it feel different. As if we were really someplace other than "stuck at home". Working for a Commercial Holiday Decor company I spend a lot of time thinking about decorating. It got me thinking, what about LED rope lights. They come in lots of colors, are easy to use, and can create many different aesthetics. Welcome to my blog on Fun Uses for LED Rope Lighting! You're welcome 😉.
- Bedroom Meditation Space
Make your bedroom a place of enlightenment! Take your favorite color or a color that makes you feel calm and get a decent amount of footage. Adhere the rope lights behind and under your headboard, dressers, really any large fixtures. You want it close to the edges but not visible from the front side. This will illuminate your room giving off that amazing calming Aura. Giving you a great place to meditate or just escape and soak in those good vibes.
- Backyard Talent Show
Whether you can sing, dance, or blow bubbles out of your nose; we are all talented. Turn your deck or patio into the perfect stage with awesome LED rope lights. Line all edges, steps and railings with your favorite color (or many colored) LED rope lights. This is now your stage. 
You can even create an illuminated sign back drop. Take a piece of particle board or cardboard cover it securely with black fabric. Using LED rope lights and a holiday light clips or clear duct tape, manipulate the LED rope lights to spell out the name of your particular show. Hang this in the background of your stage. Grab a seat and enjoy as your family takes center stage.
- Basement Roller Skating Disco
With or without the roller skating turning your basement into the hippest disco on your block is definitely worth your time. Move all your furniture so you have a large open space. Now the roller-skating part will only work if you do not have carpet in your basement. But you can still have a jamming disco dance party if you have carpet. Now take as many different colored LED rope lights as you have and outline the floor, every corner, and the place where the ceiling meets the walls. So basically, outline the room in LED rope lights. Now holiday light clips work great for this or you can use clear tape. Just be careful strong tape can remove paint. Now on the ceiling create your artwork likes stars or light bursts using many colors of LED rope lights. If you have any optical lights like a disco ball or moving lighting use that too. Turn off all the normal lights and pump up the jams! It's time for a raging basement disco roller skating party.
